We finally timed the evening right to make the 1 hour and 15 minute drive to the Badin, NC drive in from Indian Land, SC! It was worth it!! We were greeted at the box you pay for your movie by a man who had a great attitude and awesome customer service. He let us know about the double feature... More

This is a great place if you want to go grill out or tailgate, and watch a movie. They serve concessions bit you can take your own. They show several movies at a time. If you like to stay up late and enjoy being outdoors this is a great drive in Theater.

The Drive In in Badin is one of our favorite spots in the area! It is an inexpensive, fun outing for a family or even a date night! The updated bathrooms and snack bar make it even better! It is a must when in the area!

Going to the movies is ok but the drive-in is an adventure. Take chairs blankets. Playground is nice and it keeps the kids busy until dark enough for the movie. They have a good selection of food, reasonably priced. You can bring your own food too. There are two screens so options for with or without kids. They show two... More

Took my husband this past weekend as he had never been to a drive-in, although he's from NJ, the "drive-in capital of the world". We had a great time - Friday & Saturday nights they have double features on both screens so you get 2 movies for the admission, which is very reasonable. You can bring in your own food/drink... Sadly, there aren't many of these old drive ins left. Hopefully, this one will be around for a long time. As you can see from the other reviews, it is cheap (7 bucks per person for 2 movies), but the experience is the neat part. The staff is very friendly, even to newcomers and out of towners. The owner came... More

This was my first time ever at a drive in, and it was fantastic! Veterans get in free! We arrived just as the gates opened so we could snag a great spot for Screen A. We brought in our own movie snacks and coffee thermos, so definitely much cheaper (and more fun!) than a theater. Will be back! Didn't try... More

What a find out in the middle of the country! The owner was great and since we came a little too early, he said we could leave and come back as long as we went back through the line and showed him the ticket, which is what we did. Rolled down the windows and sun roof, kicked the seats back... More

If you've never been to a drive-in, you should definitely go! It is really a good time! For $7 you can watch 2 movies and they are new releases, not movies that will be on DVD next week. You can bring in outside food and drink but the concession stand offers a lot more than popcorn. There's hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken... More

While visiting my son at his home in Charlotte I wanted to do something "different." We looked up drive-in theaters and found, sadly, that there are only a handful in the whole state. However, a mere 45 min drive from Charlotte, in the quaint town of Albemarle is the Badin Road Drive In. Right off the main road, yet completely... More
