Time well spent learning about art and the dissemination of ideas for hundreds of years. Contemporary art and craft (textiles) exhibits are especially worth seeing.

This place has it all - displays on Islamic architecture, glassware, jewelry, clothing, coins, ceramics, paintings, rugs... as well as special exhibitions on Muslims in Australia and bookbinding.

Fascinating for a westerner like me to see the models of the great mosques and some explanation of the art and illustrations of the holy texts. This is housed in a wonderful structure and well worth the entrance fee.

This is a well organized museum and it is worth the visit. Also the gift shop is nice and it has gifts from all over the Muslim world.

It was around 30 MR for two adults. We spent about 2 hours looking at the exhibits. We did not try the restaurant so cannot comment on that. We enjoyed the museum and it was lovely and cool inside.

It's within 5 minutes of KL Bird Park. Young kids will not find much to keep them entertained, as the exhibits are primarily of historical and cultural interest, I feel. The scale models of the various mosques and Islamic... More
