It is a nice monument and easy to get too, the gardens around it are lovely and there is a place to get some snaks and drinks if you are hot. Try the Durian ice-cream

The place is nicely maintained with a wonderful city view. I was actually surprised to find a memorial for victims of WW2 especially in a country which has never fought a war. Nevertheless appreciated the noble gesture. The place can be extremely crowded with tourist...More

There's a small parking lot at the entrance but only big enough for around 8-10 cars. A lot of tour buses park by the roadside so the place can get quite congested. I went right to the monument, there's a nice crescent-shaped pavilion with very...More

It's a war memorial located at high point in the city. The place has adorning fountains, lighting and a lush green garden attached to it. The view of the city skyline from this place is beautiful, as if the war heroes are looking over the...More

Worthwhile making the trip here if you have time. The gardens are differently beautiful. It was very hot however so be mindful to take water with you.

The first thing I noticed when visiting this memorial was how much it looked liked some of the ones we have in the U.S. It is worth a visit and has a nice view!

Well worth a look, impressive construction and commemoration. There is so much information and symbolism including the fallen Communist Soldiers underfoot. There are also fighting Unit motifs in the ceiling as well as the views o KL. Entrance is free.

The monument itself takes 5-10 min. The area around it is nice to walk and close to the botanical, bird, and butterfly park. So that would take half a day.
