Fitting monument

Fine monument commemorating those who died fighting for Malaysia in its struggles during the twentieth century. Good views of the city here also.

Not much to do around here, but worth a stop for a photo when you're touring the city. The KL hop on hop off bus stopped here.

The National Monument is located in a pristine park area, which is quiet and serene which is befitting the reason for the monument. It is a huge and magnificent statue and marvellously sculpted depicting the Malaysian soldiers and their Communist foes. The place was respectfully peaceful and quite moving, even for a foreigner. Well worth putting on your visitors trail.

It is one of the most amazing bronze statue. Wonderful views from this location. Go early to avoid the crowds and the hot sun.
