Since ten years, I buy materials for dresses n curtains here. Good cotton nighties are plenty. Good selections n matching threads, decorative laces & etc....which is only a fraction $$ compared to Australia. My favourite shopping hunt

Lots of better 'Little India's' in the world. The salesmen are not very friendly and I don't think that there are any special deals.

A visit to Masjid Jamek was like visiting an typical Indian Bazaar. There were authentic Indian restaurants and the street side cloth and novelty stores brought about a reminiscence of visiting an Indian Bazaar in India

One place must stop and look for to buy stationary, souvenirs and lots of good quality textile at a bargained price. A very lively and hospitable surroundings with new landscape in placed. No hustling from the community but be sincere and have enjoy..

Well, its better to arrive around 10 am where most of the shops are open and just like any other shops in other areas, it closes around 10-11 pm. Whenever there are customers, i presume the shops close later.
