Been there twice with 12 years interval. Nothing changed. Same familiar environment and same types of fish - mostly Tuna which seems to be most popular fish in Maldives.

Malé Fish Market is very close to the fishing boat harbor and quite small. Most of the fish is tuna but I saw one sail fish too. It’s quite smelly but so are all fish markets.

Though a good place to visita see a vriety and sizes of fishes and other sea animals, the place smells a lot and vegetarian may not like to visit.
