Fine example of Seychelles' vernacular style

It's worth visiting the gallery just to experience the warmth of old wood and the distinctive style of louvred wooden shutters that were once universal here.

This is historical site now mostly in use to sell expensive jewelry and gems to rich tourists. Were in and out in 5 minutes. We expected to find some sort of museum but were clearly disappointed.

I have been here in the past, but this is the first time I went to explore the whole building (2nd floor included). The staff are super-friendly, even with seasoned staff from South Africa that are supporting the local staff to train them in the jewel and goldsmith field. I did find it funny that the goldsmith was from Sri... More

Quaint little house we happened upon during our walk through downtown Victoria. Loved their jewelry, crafts and art by local artists.

this house feels very colonial and is in immaculate condition. Very cool and relaxing tour of jewellery and painting shops within house. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you are looking to buy jewellery of painting would recommend. Great for a browse on a rainy day.

Visited Kenwyn house, came down with with my cousin Steve from Shrewsbury and thought we would pop in to see the local art. To be perfectly honest, I think my 4 year old son could do better. It was a eyesore.

High end pricey and not a huge selection of jewelry and style is disappointing for the style , the creole house is nice.

We showed up from the beach, so looking very "beachy". We were definitely greeted with the eyes of "do you belong here?" And even before I tried on some items, I was quickly told how much they cost. I'd say to Kenwyn, Mahe is a touristy town...so don't judge people's pockets by their looks. In the end, I bought coco... More
