My hubby and I didn't finish the Avenues Concert with the Zoo since I have osteoarthritis and I wouldn't come out rushing with the crowd so we booked our ride earlier and I sat on the pavement within the green gate premises. When my ride came the guards shoved the car away to park farther and I said I have a condition but he was so insensitive of my condition they still shoved it farther. I was and still am so angry with your discourteous and insensitive security personnel. Pleas educate them how to treat people with condition.

Nothing to tell about the place but on the experience, I have many. Maybe I can suggest the owner make the place cooler and have more food stalls.

I would like to bring your attention to a very disheartening incident I experienced at the ARANETA PARKING BUILDING while about to exit. First the parking procedure; To park in the building, one has to enter through the entrance,(see picture) press a button at the automated card machine inside and when a card comes out, the gate will swing up and you may park inside. Now, when exiting, you have to walk to the cashier’s table where you will hand over the plastic parking card and the cashier will check your card and a receipt will be generated for you to pay and proceed to your car and exit the building where you’ll insert the parking card at the automated gate machine. Now, the very bad experience happened at the cashier where I was informed I have to pay P250 instead of the usual P50 I was accustomed to do. When I asked how this is so, the cashier and a security guard beside her, answered, they have A NEW POLICY OF EXTENDED HOURS CHARGE OF P200 IN ADDITION TO THE USUAL P50. This is because I exceeded 10 hours. They then pointed to the screen that I indeed parked for 10 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES. I said, I always parked here and was charged P50 flat rate. And they said they started the NEW POLICY MAY 1, 2017. Now, I did not know this because there is NO SUCH NOTICE before entering the parking facility (see picture above). Nor is there anything written in the plastic card. In fact, the card is just white plastic without anything written on it. Thus, you will only know the parking cost when you are paying to the cashier . I really feel that I was robbed, scammed and been had. I spent 10 hours and 20 minutes yes, but 20 minutes cost me P200 more? Without knowing this new policy? It is not that I left the car overnight or lost my parking card as other parking facilities ask for additional charges! In fact, I was late going to the parking building because a game just finished inside the coliseum and I just waited a bit to avoid the crowds coming out of the gates. And this cost P200 !!. To think that the government is encouraging the public to leave their cars at parking facilities like this and use public transport to their offices like farther south in Makati or onwards. Is the parking building owner so cash hungry that they would resort to this kind of scam? No visible notices were posted at the entrances as shown in the picture to inform the public about this NEW POLICY! Thus I feel I was robbed! And for 20 minutes late?( See receipt! )
I hope this letter will inform other motorists and avoid getting robbed and scammed by greedy people who are behind this operation. PARK and GET SCAMMED AT ARANETA PARKING BUILDING!!

Metro Pacific Corporation would have been better off constructing a brand new indoor stadium than buying a partial share and then renovating it. the only high-tech about this attraction is their LED screen at the middle, but even that is losing some LED lights and there are no signs of anyone trying to repair it. I consider the seats as slightly more comfortable than a park bench. food stalls are limited, as well as parking. I only go there now if I really like the performer, otherwise, it's a pass.

This is an iconic building in Cubao, Quezon City...a landmark. This is where concerts, basketball games and other events are held. Close to good restaurants and shopping mall. Next door to Novotel Araneta Center Hotel.

This place has always been there, renovated outside but inside, i don't know yet ...
I just visited the place last week to buy tickets for a sports event, to my surprise, SOLD OUT!!!

And I have been checking their website since Monday and that particular event is not showing and then it's SOLD OUT?! Come to think of it, been advertising your website for customer who are quite busy but it's not reliable.

I think they need to improve their website as well!!!

Araneta Coliseum has been the venue for the annual Disney on Ice here in Manila, PH. Also known as the "Big Dome", Araneta Coliseum is a distinctive landmark in Cubao, Quezon City. Over the years, it has hosted several concerts, performances and basketball games. Sadly though, it REALLY needs a major renovation. Seats are very old, some are rusty, floors have cracks and are somewhat sticky and the restrooms...there are very few cubicles compared to the number of audiences and badly needs replacement! I hope they do a major repair/ renovation to this place which has been witness to wonderful and memorable events in Manila.
