About
Sining Kamalig has transformed from a gallery space towards pop ups. Our exhibits will be all over Metro Manila, due to collaborations we have with other places. Our mission is to let everyone discover art, young or old, Filipino or non-Filipino. We are not bound to stable place. Everywhere in Metro Manila, you can enjoy the beautiful and interesting changing exhibition of Filipino artists. Most recognized artists but also upcoming artists have exhibited and are still active in Sining Kamalig. Do you want to discover it yourself and get inspired?

If you're in Cubao, you should definitely visit this art gallery! They have interesting art and a good story behind it, they genuinely want to support the artists and enable more people to enjoy art in their lives. Furthermore the staff are accessible and friendly. They have an art exhibit opening about every month, very nice to visit!

I visited the PEKSMAN exhibition by Marco Malto. A contemporary and highly political exhibition improbably situated in this gallery in the middle of a gigantic mega mall! Highly recommend!

Dear Kristian L, Thank you for your visit during the exhibit of Marco Malto and your encouraging review. His art does not only depict the current dispensation but does it with beauty and style. We are honoured to have him choose Sining Kamalig as his gallery of choice. It may seem improbable that we are situated in Ali Mall (both of us being the oldest operating mall and gallery in the country). But being here ties up with our objective of bringing art closer to the common people. We feel that art should be accessible and enjoyed by everyone in the social strata. Please do visit again. We have new meaningful shows every month to highlight the talents of our varied artists.

Contemporary art, culture and advocacy- excellent work by Marc Malto is highly commendable. The pieces appeal to people with deeper understanding of social, political, economic and spiritual values and beliefs. The collection should be shown in different parts of the Philippines. The curator should find sponsors to initiate this and inform the public.

Clean, organized and accessible. Great to stage pieces of the art, heart and mind of extra ordinary depth.

Dear Nina C, Thank you for your visit! We are a gallery and our curators decide how and how many paintings to hang. So sometimes it is more and sometimes less. Please check our information and join us at an opening! We would like to see you more often. The Sining Kamalig Team

I've been to this art gallery only once, in order to join an art auction in support of an ailing gallery owner also from Quezon City. The place is well-located inside Ali Mall of Cubao, Quezon City, great location, ok public transport and lots of parking spaces. The art gallery owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.

SK displays works by big and small names in the art industry, so there's always something new to discover. They also organize workshops and other activities that everyone would enjoy. The employees and volunteers are very friendly.

Alimall is so lucky to have this kind of art gallery. Even though it’s not that big, it’s full of things that will amaze and inspire you. It’s a great experience. I visited Tinta, Pintura at Kultura by Don Santana. His artworks are so good! What makes it look good is that his artwork is about the indigenous people in the Philippines. It’s like every artwork that is there has a story to tell. People there are also accommodating. Keep it up! Don’t stop inspiring other people.
