This 12-mile long beach is also a National Park. Its proximity to the ruins keeps hotels from developing in the area, making it great for uncrowded swimming as well as bird watching.

Beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water. Stunning backdrop of the Taurus mountains. Good beach cafe, showers and toilets available, also sun loungers and umbrellas available to hire. I am told the beach sweeps round for 18 km. When we were there at the end...More

Super long unspoilt sandy beach. Either rent a bed and brolly at the "busy section" near the car park or stroll a little further for a more peaceful spot. You can rent a brolly and take it with you a little further from the beds...More

A beautiful long beach with soft sand. This is a beach used by turtles to lay their eggs. Rent the sunbeds and umbrellas or bring your own - beware there is no sun cover on this beach and it can get extremely hot. The catering...More

A little off the road, and a little strange you will have to pass an entrance for the antique city - take a visit! - but this beach, famous for its nightly visits of sea turtles - is so unspoilt, it is pure nature!

Big sandy beach with one restaurant and showers. Accessible by car (car parking nearby) or Dolmus. You can also walk from Gelemis. Sand was VERY HOT, so I would definitely recommend sandals. Some days it could be windy with big waves, not pleasant to swim...More

Sometimes when someone has a monopoly they make every effort to live up to the honour of the position. Others however take the opposite view and take advantage of the situation. The cafe on Patara Beech sadly does the later and serves pathetic food knowing...More
