I went here with my Son and fell lucky as we were the only 2 people there. Perfect acoustics and the view from the top level of seats over the bay is amazing.

The amphitheater itself is impressive. Liked the way it's freely accessible, but question the fact that the government could not anymore find the findings to restore this site... Surely a good place to organize events: the acoustic is still very effective! From the top of...More

Well worth seeing. Don't sit on the steps - very hot and your bum will get burnt!! The tour guide told us lots of interesting information which otherwise we wouldn't have known.

Not much to see really, you can see all of it just driving past. Interestingly though, the supermarket next to it has got part of the amphittheater built into i'ts structure next to the fish counter.

It is closed to the public but you can walk to it. I imagine it is shut for safety reasons. You can see it on the hill form the castle and boats.

Another "must see" in Bodrum, particularly the story of the recent find beneath it with the iron gates in the center, now claimed to be the real tomb of Mausolous. But otherwise nothing better than Ephesus.

It is on the main road from Bodrum to Turgutreis. I don't know where you are in Bodrum but from the marina or castle area (centrum/downtown) it is approx. 2 km. You can have taxi. The cost will be acceptable. Or there are... More
