Loved the Fort and all the history. The A/C was awesome considering how hot it was and the ability to take a tour or do a self guided feature was nice. Very nice visitors center and gift shop. Beautiful park! Very welcoming.

Stumbled upon this gem. We really enjoyed our visit. It's both educational and interesting. We witnessed the muzzleloader rifle firing. The staff was professional and engaging. Definitely worth the visit. Lots of photography opportunities.

We enjoyed this area, the fort is history, but the park is great. There is large beach that has life guards, a nice shelter to eat at with clean bathrooms, and ample parking.

To my knowledge there is no place to dock a boat to go and visit the fort. The Coast Guard base is on one side and open beach on the other with no dock.
