This is a beautiful park! During your visit, you could play on the playground, swim in Lake Erie, look for beach glass, feed the ducks in the large pond, sled ride down the large hills in the winter months, tour the Lights on the Lake between Thanksgiving and New Year's, look at antique cars every Sunday evening between Memorial Day... We were at the park attending the summer car show/cruise in. In September it runs from 4 - 7pm on Sunday evenings. They had karaoke as the entertainment. The bird poop and feathers are a bit annoying but otherwise it's a really nice place. We brought a picnic and had a lot of fun people watching, walking, and using the... More

This park has so much to offer. A beach on Lake Erie, sand, a playground, lots of green space, a duck pond and peacocks. Great place to take kids of all ages. Room for family or romantic picnic.

We visited Lake Shore Park in June. This is a nice size park with a variety of areas for families to enjoy their time at the park.

No dogs allowed in the park. CCW not allowed. Park workers do a great job keeping the park clean and neat. Grass and flowerbeds are well kept. Very nice picnic pavilions. Good supply of grills and picnic tables. Nice beach. Disc Golf! Restrooms are clean. Easy boat launch. Perfect park, almost....My dog would LOVE it. That is a huge shame.... More

We took our nephews down to the park on a day it was finally beautiful out to enjoy the weather. While walking along the icy beach we found hypodermic needles laying on the ground. Not only is that so gross but it's dangerous. People swim here in the summer and apparently others get high. Ugh, so awful!

There is always lots to do at Lake Shore Park. Make sure to take a trip around the duck pond, walk along the stone path, and visit the concession stand for a fried elephant ear.
