You don't need to head to England to experience the genius of a Shakespearean play. Much closer to home is the Oregon Shakespeare Festival located in Ashland, Oregon. Every year at the end of October you can enjoy on average over ten of Shakespeare's plays performed in both classic and newly imagined style. Separate tickets are needed for each show which is held at one of the event campus's two indoor or one outdoor spaces.

We saw Off the Rails a very fun, contemporary and engaging play. I can't stop thinking about it. Ashland is famous for it's Shakespeare Festival, great food and outdoor recreation.

I come here every year, and the finest actors appear in OSF's plays. Do not be fooled into thinking it's a Renaissance Festival or all Shakespeare with people dressed in silly garb. The Festival goes on for 8 months of the year, and the adaptations...More

As a long time OSF member, I don't expect to love every play they perform. Since travel to Ashland, hotels and dining in downtown Ashland are not cheap; I DO expect the OSF experience to be much better than it is this season. Artistically most...More
