The alpine meadows on this mountain are spectacular as is the view of Mt. Shasta. Easy hike of 6 miles. Plenty of small wildlife & tons of honey bees!

My husband and I live about 30 minutes from Mount Ashland. We love to go up in all seasons. Winter is particularly gorgeous for skiing and snowshoeing, but its beautiful year round.

What a view. This is the first time we had traveled to the top of Mt. Ashland. The view was incredible. Glad we had our 4 wheel drive.

We went up to check it out since we were in Ashland. There are very nice views of Mount Shasta and if the air quality had been better, there would also have been view of Castle Crags. There is also a good view into Oregon....More

Hi! Yes, the road will likely be snow-covered this weekend, based on what we're seeing in the forecast. Take it easy and make sure to leave plenty of space between you and the vehicle in front of you. Going down, there is a... More
