Stoudtburg Village is primarily a residential hamlet that is reminiscent of a village in Germany. We have a few individually owned specialty shops, and a café that serves food and alcohol. The Village is always open for strolling our walkways and admiring the unique architecture and lovely gardens. You can also sit and relax in the plaza while listening to the sounds of the water splashing in the fountain. At the top of the fountain sits a cherub, affectionately known to villagers as "Peaches." We will let you figure out why :). Picture taking is a common occurrence in Stoudtburg Village. We often have wedding parties taking advantage of this beautiful location for pictures of their special day. So come and enjoy this unusual setting...take a stroll, sit and chat awhile, stay as long as you like!

Fun place to visit ...

But it never has really come to fruition. There are some consistent shops, but this replica of European living just doesn't cut the mustard.

I actually almost bought here in 07 omg thank God I did not. Neighbors while renting were not that nice to each other gossip was everywhere stores closed most of the time. Its beautiful to look at but very boring to live or visit. Its just to to abandoned feeling. Great concept but wrong place. Not worth visiting if you... More

It was a lovely place and would have been really nice if the shops were opened. Except for a German Pub, it looked like it was abandoned. We were at the Green Dragon market, which was only a few miles away, so we took a drive over. If you are further than a few miles away, it's not worth the... More

After seeing this place at a glance while shopping at the antique mall across the street we finally stopped by. It is very quaint and the fountain is lovely. My 4 year old enjoyed walking all over. We were disappointed that it is so quiet. It was very difficult to tell which shops were open and which were closed. As... More

Not much here overall......had lunch at very good café at entrance (recommended), but most everything else was closed on a Friday afternoon, kind of like a ghost town...I'm not sure which direction this place is heading.

I guess when you go makes all the difference. We were there the first Saturday in May and it felt like walking through a ghost town. A few shops were open and were nice, but there were no shoppers besides my wife and myself. I presume it's busier in the summer.

Unfortunately Stoudtburg Village has been the victim of the economic downturn and a lot of shops here have closed. That means less people coming in. Which means more shops close. It is a catch 22 situation :(. We have a new builder coming in so, hopefully, new construction will soon revitalize the Village! More

I have been here twice, I don't understand if there are people that live here also? I couldn't find where to park or where the stores were. I was just so confused! I'm going back to this area soon so I will probably try one more time!

This is a residential village that has a handful of shops that are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 until 5. There is also a by appointment hair salon, and a café that is open Wednesday through Sunday. There is a main parking lot at the north entrance to the Village. The original idea of Stoudtburg Village was to... More

If you want a small village shopping experience, this will fill the order! Many small, family run business 's to choose from!

This is a good place to visit for anyone who is homesick of Germany, or just wants to get a glimpse of it. It would have been nice if there were more real stores open, and not just souvenir and nicknack shops. But at least the atmosphere is nice ... and the beer in the restaurant is good.

Only a few shops, but such a fun place to walk with the dogs and then grab lunch at the restaurant in the village! Great place to eat.
