Took the three grandkids to the hatchery and they were all fascinated by all the activity. The explanatory signs tell you exactly what is going on with all the fish. Everything nice and clean and well maintained.

First of all it is FREE unless you buy food to feed the fish. Great for kids of all ages & adults too. Amazing how the fish jump for the food. Have been there a few times with & without Grand boys.

A beautiful, clean learning experience for young and old. Watching all of the fish was was great and the kids loved feeding them. A nice quiet place to spend a summer morning.

The site of the modern hatchery is a small footprint compared to what it was like in its heyday, so most of the "tour" is self-guided by signs throughout the facility showing what the hatchery used to look like and demonstrating the life cycle of...More

I am sure you can buy bulk food at various stores locally to your area if the hatchery cannot. Also, look at koi pond websites, they have a multitude of options.
