The biggest drawback to the chains is the guaranteed long lines for tickets. AMC or Regal etc will spend for only one overworked girl selling tickets so you wait in line 10 or 15 minutes. I refuse to do that. The Ambler is a smaller...More

The theater is very retro and progressive. Wonderful films, not 45 minutes of advertising before the movie. What advertisements there do show are from community business who have a vested interested in Ambler. The staff are so wonderful and friendly. We love the movie theater....More

This is a great smaller theatre in Ambler, Pa. that is close to a number of good bars and restaurants to go to post movie - nice place to see a classic like Jaws as they run a funseries of old movies !!!!!

The Oscar festivities were in full swing. The excitement was in the air. The raffles were exciting, the pastries were delicious and drinks were flowing. We had seats in the main theatre and it seemed like we were in the audience of the Oscar.

Great place to see a indie movie with affordable popcorn and soda in an refurbished theater. Good eats next door( From the Boot) and across the street. (lucky Well and Deterra)

I've been coming to this theater for years. I've brought my children for the family movies on Saturdays and my husband for date nights. The staff is very friendly and the historic theater is beautiful.
