It is very enjoyable to learn about coal mining in the old days. They take you down in an old coal car. We enjoyed ourselves and had a lot of fun. Make sure to take a long sleeve shirt or jacket along. It is only...More
Really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide really made the tour complete. His knowledge of the coal mine from back then to now was amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour, but remember to take a jacket.
Being from a big attraction city. It is nice to be able to slow down and enjoy a real town attraction. Even though the steam train wasn’t working, we still took a fabulous mine train tour waaaay down.

It was inexpensive. Includes a ride into the coal mine in the coal cars they used years ago. I'm claustrophobic, but it didn't bother me at all. It was 86 degrees out the day we were there, and it was cold in the mine. Bring a sweatshirt.
