Aiken Golf Club is a must play, the most fun you can have on a short course, but don't let that fool you, this course is in great condition, a classic design and the green bunker complexes are amazing. I have played many courses in the World and this is golf as it is meant to be played.

Had a tee time at 10AM, and was off and running before that time, Lad was soooo helpful and friendly. Had lunch after at the 19th hole and even the simplest BLT was sumptuous!! Great place, great service, great people!

The Aiken Golf Club has hosted the Aiken Amateur Championship for the past few years. They have been well-organized and supported by a large number of people in the community. The course has been rebuilt, and is being maintained very well. A gem of a golf course. One that was originally built very early in the history of golf in America. Check out its history on the Internet.

In downtown Aiken, sc there's a golf course that's worth the stop! The Aiken golf club is usually always in very good shape. The greens are not easily read or putted. It isn't very long however your shots must be placed in the proper area or you'll be trouble. The price won't empty your wallet and it is worth playing!

This course tries to style itself after Pinehurst with waste areas and false fronts galore, but at a mere 5,795 yards from the tips it falls woefully short. Course conditions are nice but pin positions are some of the most bizarre I've ever seen. Too many times I hit a good putt only to see it roll 50 feet away because the pin was on a ridge. I guess the greenskeeper didn't sleep well. The false fronts and slopes are ridiculous especially for the puny greens. In the Aiken city amateur it's even worse. Superintendent's revenge on almost every hole. Of course a few overachievers can break 70 out here but the course is not fun to play at all.

Short with excellent bunkers and greens. Well maintained and very reasonable greens fees. A dandy snack bar awaits at 19th hole.

No fancy pro shop and clubhouse, but a wonderful, golf experience in the center of Aiken. Three sets of tees, ample fairways, and challenging elevated greens. The staff was wonderful making tee times. We will definitely go back to charming Aiken and the Aiken Golf Club.

For an unexpected golf experience, this course is amazing! Not too long but extremely challenging! The Greens are fast and undulating but most are very reachable. Prices are VERY reasonable! Good food and beverage at the 19th hole, and a nice pro shop. Also, the first course in the U.S. with ladies tees!

This course is challenging from the back tees and a short golf course. It is superbly maintained and the greens are smooth but slower than I'm used to playing. It's not expensive to play and certainly a must play experience.

I have been playing at a local country club and have quit paying those high prices now that I have found Aiken Gold Club. Great value and fantastic course. Who needs an expensive country club when you have this "great find".
