Palmetto Distillery is a labor of love for Trey and Bryan Boggs. The two brothers and entrepreneurs from Anderson, SC are dedicated business men, southern to the bone and most importantly spirit connoisseurs. The brothers drew inspiration from their own heritage and that of South Carolina to create Palmetto Distillery. Which produces South Carolina's First Legal Moonshine and Palmetto Whiskey, South Carolina's Most Awarded Craft Whiskey. Our goal is to continue to revolutionize the spirit industry. Free distillery tours and moonshine tastings available daily.

Interesting to watch the ingredients being mixed to make the whiskey. The raw alcohol(clear) is pretty strong. When it is cut with various flavors such as apple, etc. it is pretty good. The distillery also has gifts for sale which can make interesting souvenirs. Free...More

Impromptu visit while staying in the area. Loved it! Free tasting of jams and sauces resulted in a case to send home! Husband enjoyed the moonshine and mixer tastings. Like so many last minute things it turned into one of the highlights of the trip.

This is OK. If you like moonshine it is acceptable. If you do not no reason to go. Nice people and good customer service.

If on your path, a quaint out if the way place that makes flavored and unflavored moonshine as well as their own whisky. In business 6 years now I think. I bought both. I hope it's good, cool for the conversation value though too.

Go try some country moonshine, lots of flavors and cool apparel. Make sure you learn the recipes on how to cook with moonshine too.

We are Anderson locals and stopped by on a date night after wanting to stop by for a long time. After being to several other moonshine distilleries, Palmetto was right on par or better than some of the bigger named distilleries you see. The tour...More
