We all enjoyed the animals and how clean and organized this zoo is. What a fun few hours! Although small, many animals were out making noises anticipating their lunch time.

Abilene's zoo brings a large variety of animals & reptiles close enough for an interactive experience for visitors. Weather permitting the lake provides pedal swan boats for rent and picnic locations nearby.

Took the granddaughters, 6 and 8, to the Abilene Zoo. Great exhibit on local wildlife, and an impressive collection of reptiles, plus the giraffe safari made this a very worthwhile visit.
