Very fun attraction in the Big Bend, TX region. The professional minor league baseball team plays in historic Kokernot Field, a scaled down replica of Wrigley Field.

Thanks to a long ago Texas Monthly article I had Kokernot Field on my bucket list. Worth it, but for different reasons. Touted as the most beautiful ballpark in America, Kokernot Field may fall a bit shy in beauty, but it is absolutely everything a baseball park should be. It took me a while to figure out why this place... More

We were staying at the Lost Alaskan RV park, which is only 5 minutes from the field, so why not. We saw the O6 Alpine Cowboys play the White Sands Pup-fish. Beautiful evening to relax and enjoy great seats - I think the seats are all 6.00 each. Refreshing change from the crowds, traffic, and expense of a major league... More

I have been to a lot of ball parks and this is my favorite. The story of how a local rancher built the stadium in the 40's and started his own team because he loved baseball makes this place endearing. Low ticket prices, free parking, cheap beer and eats. Best way to spend a summer afternoon.

Beautiful field, great prices and all seats have great view. The players were much better than expected and everyone was friendly. People would stop and visit with us and the ball players on both teams were playing with the kids and having a good time. It was like baseball should be. One of the visiting players summed it up when... More

it was a nice ballpark...small & friendly...try the "brisket burrito" with all the trimmings...WOW it was good! when the game started, there were literally more people on the field than in the stands...but the crowd picked up...how many games can you go to where the pitcher/umpire are GUARANTEED to hear every word from the stands? baseball purists will love it

What a great experience ... minor league baseball on a cool, clear night, with the unmatched scenery of the Big Bend all around. The game was good, but the conversation with local folks and baseball fans was even better. Kokernot Field has a remarkable history, and I am really glad it continues to be such an attractive and enjoyable place.
