Except for the very long line to park (on a Friday) it is a fun experience with kids! Last year we went in June and not much was left and much smaller strawberries. I love their popcorn! You pay $1 for a big bucket then strawberries by the lb. we didn't put them in the fridge though and they were... More

The best part about Froberg's is the strawberry picking. It's easy, accessible, and tons of kids are doing it. The produce stand/grocery store inside is okay but I didn't feel like the produce was that much better that your usual grocery store, in some cases. You have to hunt to find the good stuff. It was also very busy the... More

We love visiting Froberg's to pick strawberries from December - May! It's easy and fun for the kids to participate too. Be sure to load up on fresh vegetables while you're there and don't forget to get fried pies from the bakery! Our family favorites are any that have sweet cream - strawberries & cream, blackberries & cream, blueberries &... More

It is the best place to go to and experience the picking of strawberries off the vine with family and friends. Just pick up a reusable bucket for $1. They have great fresh food market, homemade pies, assortment of nuts and so much more. They have a picnic area under the oak trees where we gathered together for lunch and... More

Best place to pick your own or buy already picked. Fresh vegetables, snack bar, meat market, fried pies and a great bakery. Family fun year round.

Fried pies of many flavors and pick your own strawberries. Froberg's remains a family favorite weekend destination. Lots of vegetables available at the farmer's market.

Strawberries arent quite in season yet, but Frobergs was first farm open and allow u-pick berries for the season. There are already plenty of fat juicy strawberries to pick right off the plants. It doesnt take long to fill up your bucket, so luckily they have a farm stand store you can stop but to get all other produce. The... More

I rated this a little low because the strawberries are expensive compared to the grocery store especially considering that you are providing the labor. That being said, it is well set up and the strawberries are very good. There is also a smoke house next door and a grocery with some fresh and some imported produce.

Take the family to experience "home grown" veggies and fruits. During season various varieties are ripe for the picking. If you don't want to pick your own, visit inside. Lots of things to chose from. Also carry a variety of canned fruits, jams and jellies. Their fresh fried pies are to die for!
