It's a very short trek through the rainforest, but it is an experience you won't forget. Just the smell of the earthy plants and the moisture - the flowers and the banana tree - really neat!!

We've been to botanical gardens in many areas of the US and each one has it's own special appeal. This one was a pleasant surprise, I didn't expect to see so many blooming green plants in such a warm dry climate. And the butterfly sanctuary...More

My nephew had his wedding here recently. It was beautiful with the pumpkins all around the trees and the lights and gazebo. Very pretty for a beautiful Fall wedding.

We enjoyed strolling around the various sections of the gardens and particularly liked the cactus on display. However, we felt somewhat disappointed that most areas were in need of greater maintenance.

I love going to Amarillo Botanical Gardens, especially at Christmas. It is beautifully decorated and my entire family enjoys the Christmas music. Spring in the gardens is wonderful.

This botanical garden is relatively small but has a wide variety of botanicals. We went on a very hot day but lots of volunteers were there, weeding, trimming, mowing, watering. Everyone was so pleasant. Definitely worth a side trip if you are in Amarillo.

I really liked the small garden and it wasn’t overally expensive. Great green house with some ducks and jungle like presence. It was just not an amazing time to see anything outside after the summer foliage had died off.
