My husband and I stopped here on our Rt 66 tour through Amarillo in April 2017. Follow the signs to an RV dealer site and ask to see the RV Museum exhibit. This is a lovely private collection that has been opened free to the public. It has been beautifully laid out and accessorized with items to go with the... More

This is a must visit if you have any experiences with camping. The museum is a self guided tour, so no rush, The displays and campers are great to look at and read about.

Needed a part for my broken fifth wheel hitch and stopped in here to find a replacement. While shopping in the parts area and checking out the new RVs we were told we were welcome to check out the RV museum out back. This museum was amazing! Verrry well done. Many vintage campers, Rvs and Motorcycles, many with very interesting... More

Great place for RV history, camping memories and vintage motorcycles! First time we have been through Amarillo when it was open, very glad we took time to visit. We spent over an hour , could have been much longer if we went through all the display cases. Very cool to see all these RV s that have been restored. Enter... More

My husband and I transport RVs all around the nation for a living, so when we saw this passing through Amarillo we just had to stop. We loved seeing all the vintage RVs and campers. It really is amazing at the thought that went into these so long ago. If you are a fan of the Robin Williams movie "RV"... More

It was a rainy day in Amarillo. Saw this attraction on TripAdvisor. Glad we went to see the Museum. Incredible display of vintage RVs. Jack Sisemore came out of his office to introduce himself as well as his son. He has an incredible story to tell. Fantastic Museum and a MUST see in Amarillo!

If you like RVs from the past this is the place to go . It's free and fun and lots to see. They also have old Harley Davidson motorcycle's redone and in very nice shape . They have a 1948 Flex bus that's been used in a couple of movies. A 1921 Ford Lamsteed Kampkar to a 1976 FMC. All... More

We had limited time, and my husband was more interested in this so if we went. My expectations were low. Nicely walked from the main building, we were surprised to arrive at a rather large building which houses the museum. It's not huge, but it isn't just a couple of old Air Streams, either. As RVers ourselves, we were delighted... More
