Beautiful lake. Stopped by for lunch on day off work in the area. Can fish for free from shore. Loaner fishing poles. Nice boat launch. Has hiking trails, beach area.

First time here and was treated like Royalty. Park was fairly empty but those that were there were friendly. With this stay it goes on our list of parks to visit again and spend more time. State Parks are awesome, Thanks Texas Chef Gene

I loved the tall pine trees and a very pretty lake. Rv lots were nice size and loved the big cul-de-sac and very little bugs. Nice hiking but sad to see the flood damage from last year in the woods. They had to clear but...More

I just called the park today and they do not sell firewood. They also said the nearby stores that do sell firewood only sell during the fall/winter so they allow people to bring in firewood from home.
