This is a rescue zoo. Wild animals, birds and reptiles that have been surrendered or animals from other parts of the world found running wild in the USA.

This is not a big ticket, touristy zoo like San Diego. It has a very special mission: to rehabilitate and care for abandoned, injured, and abused wildlife. The bear feeding and talk by keeper Matt was fascinating. We also really enjoyed the monkey feeding and...More

We didn't know what to expect as a rescue zoo and we were pleasantly surprised. It isn"t run like the big zoos around the world but it has lots of beautiful animals. We were there during the big animals feeding and it was great to...More

First, this is not a zoo in the traditional sense. However, it is a rescue center that has taken in a number of critters under various circumstances. For the nominal entry free, it is a good way to spend a few hours. I think that...More

We absolutely loved this place. We got there around noon, lunch time. Most the animals were up and moving and eating. I loved that they bring in these animals that need love and a home.

Nice lil zoo. My family loved it. Most of these animals are rescue animals. Peacocks roam free which is pretty cool. I seen foxes, wolves, hybrid wolves, bears, lions, tigers, and different monkeys, cougars, bobcats and a lil more. They don’t have rhinos, hippos, elephants,...More
