Yes, this is a small zoo. Don't disregard it for that. It's a rescue facility, which makes it even more appealing in my eyes. You can buy feed for the goats, sheep, llama, and deer, which I loved. I visit goats every chance I get...More

It's a very small zoo with not many animals to see. We couldn't see much tigers/lions etc because they were in their cave/shade because of summer heat and birds were in cages that were quite dark so our kids couldn't see many birds either. Pack...More

We were lucky enough to get a private tour thanks to a GHA/Omni Local Experience and really enjoyed meeting its Director, Patti Clark. The Zoo has the admirable mission of not existing at all - specifically, without the need to rescue abused, injured and abandoned animals,...More

This is a small zoo. It's nice but there really isn't much to it. If zoo's are your thing there is a world class one 60 miles south of Austin in San Antonio.

A sad state of a zoo. Very small, grounds are not close to good. It's like a depressing prison for animals. Do not give your money to this place as it's definitely not going towards the upkeep of the animals or facilities.

This was the baby's first zoo trip. She enjoyed seeing the animals and especially enjoyed the train ride. The animals are well cared for and workers took pride in their zoo. We saw staff petting and talking to responsive animals. They also shared with guests...More

Visiting from Costa Rica ;) What I liked the most was the history of why & how this zoo/sanctuary was born! Aside from that, my 2Y old daughter enjoyed it so much, since animals are really close and you can also feed some of them....More

This zoo is mainly comprised of rescued or previously unwanted animals. This is the only zoo in the area I will visit. They seem to take really good care of the animals. You can pay extra to by food tp feed certain animals. They do...More

The kids loved it at the Zoo. I personally don't like Zoo's but the little ones loved it. We took snacks for us all. But there is a food truck with basic stuff there and picnic tables. It's a nice walk around to kill a...More

About the dogs-we have 2 tiny poodles-each under 10 pounds that would be riding in a stroller or carried in a pack much of the time. Otherwise, they walk on a very, short secure leash.Visiting from out of town. Are they allowed inside the park? (the zoo) Best regards, Pam Frederick
