Wonderful walking trails, plenty of dogs, bikes and conscientious walkers during lunch or exercise breaks.

You have to love to people watch - not much privacy here, but it is very enjoyable next to the river and downtown skyline,

One of the reason I love Austin is for the green spaces, and Zilker is the best! Every city should be located on a river that has several square miles of park and miles of trails. Get a workout, enjoy the sun, attend a concert...Zilker does it all!

Love this park! It is beautiful, has many trails, dog and people friendly! The day we went was rainy and cool but we got out anyway to enjoy the scenery. If you love nature and want some exercise this is a great place. Will be back on next visit to Austin.

My family enjoyed walking the trails through this park along the Colorado River. There are options to rent bikes, many walk their dogs, and there is greenspace for playing with friends and/or pets.

This park stretches along the river and is full of cool activities. We saw walking groups, segway tours, folks playing catch with their dogs going in and out of the water. There is a statue of Stevie Ray Voughn half way throughout the walk as well.

If you are atleast a small fan of dogs, this is a must to visit. Friendly, happy dogs abound! Lots of walking so have your sturdy walking shoes on. We were there on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised to see such a large group of people and their dogs enjoying an early January afternoon.

I nice way to get away from it all, have a picnic, jog and just take in the views. Suitable for all and lovely.

We visited the park on Monday, right after ACL music fest. We walked down to the river early afternoon and it was not busy for a couple of hours then more people arrived later in the afternoon. We found our perfect little spot not too far from parking lot, swam, went paddle boarding and hung out with our dogs and... More

There are too many people and the trial is not wide enough. So you end up being herded through like cattle. If you wanted to stop and take a picture...good luck. Don't waste your money.
