Out of State travelers looking for greenspace and we found it here!! HUGE park couldnt see it all but walked a good portion of it. Lots of Dogs which we loved but were surprised how many were not on a leash!? the Drawback was that bike riders and walkers shared the same path! I was almost struck by bikers twice... More

Zilker is not only a great park, but it is so big that you can explore different areas and never get bored. This park works for hikers, climbers, runners, nature lovers, concert goers, kids, dogs, everyone.

Lovely place to spend a sunny day in Austin any time of the year. Great people-watching spot. Great place for events, such as ACL Festival.

Zilker is a fun place to have a picnic, throw a Frisbee or just soak up the sun. Just make sure a major festival, such as Austin City Limits, isn't planned on the day that you are visiting... unless of course you plan on attending!

I have lived very close to the Zilker park for a year. It's a beautiful place to visit. I used to visit this park almost everyday. I recommend to rent a kayak to go along the river.

Nice running trails along a water spring. Rent a canoe and paddle around for a couple of hours to see the city from different angles.
