I took the Real Austin Tour with Austin Detours. Our guide, Ike, regaled us with stories of the construction of the Capital Building and tales of long-ago dramas and shenanigans. Beautiful buildings!
We toured the State Capitol as part of our Austin Detours. It was an interesting and informative site. The building and grounds are beautiful.
Loved seeing the Capitol and enjoyed the complimentary tour. Learned a lot about the great State of Texas. Take some time to look at the statues and monuments surrounding the Capitol as well. For more of my travel adventures find me on Instagram as thefunwifey.
You can't go to Austin and not see the State Capitol! Beautiful architecture and paintings. We were lucky to catch a show where people in costumes performed dances from different cultures. The grounds are also beautiful. Our infant even loved looking at the dome ceiling!
