Super hot, everything is far away! Nothing much to see, a couple of houses with interesting carriages. That's it. If you have nothing else to do might be interesting but do not plan this as a fun day.... because it's not!

I wish we would have visited it in the fall. The parking lot was empty when we arrived and there were only a few workers in costume. It was definitely too hot in the middle of the day. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and spent...More

We came on a Sunday. No one was in period costume and available except the blacksmith. The General Store had things made in India in it. Didn't understand why you would go through so much trouble to make a whole community correct to the period...More

My fiance and I had an interesting experience at Pioneer Farms. The staff/volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the time period depicted, the families who lived in the homes, and Austin, TX in general. The farm had a collection of period carriages which was...More

We visited last Sunday and had the best experience. So much to see and animals to visit- it is a self tour and to go as fast or slow as you like. There was a blacksmith demo happening which was super fun. The Donkeys were...More

It was neat to see the homes through the years. You literally had homes all together where you could start at the earliest built and move through the years.
