This is a one-of-a-kind museum. We visited it in mid October for its Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) exhibit. The community altars on display were enlightening about the people they honored and a feast for the eyes.

The display area was very large. The fee to get in was modest and worth it. The gift shop was cute and had some cultural items. I enjoyed myself and am glad I stopped!

I've been to several art openings, and sometimes it has been a big success. Nice space, nice displays. However, visiting the museum on a "regular" day is not that exciting. Usually no "buzz" going on which I miss and get during art openings.
