Absolutely gorgeous for a wedding. October wedding was nice and cool. Just right. Set candles along the walk-over bridge, also at and around the ceremony site. Just perfect!

We and our travelling companions were not sure just what this was but wanted to take a look. Terrific decision! This is a outside garden of sculptures done by a long time art professor at University of Texas, Charles Umlauf. The location of the art...More

My son and granddaughter stopped by to let her touch the different textures of sculptures... Beautiful area but not too large to enjoy! Highly recommend strolling thru the garden and sculptures. Very relaxing and an art lovers paradise.

Beautiful spot for a wedding! Enjoyed the event and a stroll through the sculpture garden. It is a peaceful and natural space among the trees, and the rolls up and down through the sculptures.

A beautiful place for a short stroll in any season. Accessible trail. Nice restrooms. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Umlauf created sculpture and drawings about Farah Fawcett who was his student. Sculptures in natural setting. Visit takes less than an hour.

The gardens are nice enough. All the sculptures are by the same artist. The garden itself is very small, so about a 15 minute visit can see everything.

Love this place, but the grounds could use some manicuring. The sculpture is amazing and is arguably blended into a natural setting. As a local I go here often to just sit and reflect.

We've toured this once & been to a wedding once. Lovely sculptures, interesting history; beautiful setting; a bridge.

Dozens of examples of the life's work of one Austin sculptor set in a quiet garden on the south side of the city. Worth an hour or two.

Hi, Mitch. What would you like to know about this attraction? I am wondering if you felt that Um.auf would be open and space available to develop some living sculptures in topiary art there one the grounds. if donated botanicals and volunteer artists provided the time and talent did they seem potentially open to such a suggestion?

There are other places in Austin that might welcome such services, though. The Butterfly Garden and the Zilker Rose Garden, for ex.
