Took a long walk from downtown Austin and found these great little shops on So. Congress Ave. Several interesting places to eat along the way too.

There are restaurants, shops, bars and the bat bridge all within walking distance in this area. Where good walking shoes and plan to stay awhile.

South Congress is what "keep Austin weird" stands epitomizes. You can find cowboy boots, high end boutiques, GREAT food, and so much more. If you visit Austin take the time to visit South Congress.

Yes, but Uber and Lyft are no longer available. Instead, download the "Ride Austin" app; a similar startup created by mostly former Uber & Lyft drivers.
