Only a handful of interesting places remain on South Congress. Condos, development and rent increases sapped all the locations and drove all the smaller businesses away. What used to be an interesting place to take a stroll is no longer worth the hassle of finding...More

South Congress is a busy hip area with lots of quirky shops, restaurants and bars. First Thursdays the shops stay open late. Sunny weekends the streets are crowded with performers, hawkers and gawkers. Catch a performance under the live Oaks at Gueros Taco Bar, in...More

The stores are ok but the vibe is good. You can hear some great music for little or no $$$ but be sure to tip the bands!
