Really cute area for shopping and dining. Lots of retail therapy, cute items, good prices. Art galleries. Great restaurants. South Congress Cafe is wonderful. Try the sweet potato beignets. You won't be disappointed.

I love going to the shops here and looking at all the cool things only you can find in Austin. This is a great place to come and kill some time, shop and eat.

make time to enjoy Austin. Park and walk the area. Make it a afternoon evening event. Shop, ice cream, pizza, drink, people watch, and dine and enjoy. A variety of shops and tatoo places. Safe area and have your camera ready. a must visit

South Congress is a fun street to people watch, check out the various shops, and murals. But was insanely overpriced. Does a pint size mason jar really need to cost $44? More window shopping then anything, but still fun.
