I received a phone call from the person running the bikes the night of our reservation asking us to come in 30 minutes earlier then the reservation time to give us more time on the water (I thought this was nice). When we arrived the guy gave instruction to stay in the middle of the river and to call him... More

This was really fun. At first we did it because we thought they were funny. They are funny but also really great. I definitely recommend it! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Austin Water Bikes is a standard attraction when I have guests in town. They are a great outfit, very helpful and what a wonderful way to experience Town Lake. This visit we watched the bats at the Congress St. Bridge emerge and it was just fabulous !

We enjoyed this experience. Very easy to pedal and very stable. The gentleman that helped us was not that friendly. He acted like he really didn't want to be there. Other than that I would highly recommend.

Nice way to spend an hour or so on the water and without getting wet!! You can bring your phone for photos - especially during the bats tour. Bring some water on a hot day. The pedaling is not very taxing (no Soul Cyle workout here). Enter through the Hyatt parking lot.

The bikes are very easy to operate and they have storage compartments to put your phone and keys. We pedaled the bikes through the water to an area near the bridge to watch the bats..very cool! Highly recommend!

What an experience on the river! A bit hard than it looks but much like riding a bicycle. You aren't allowed to swim, but you wouldn't want to get in the water anyway, despite the heat.

Great idea, not an over-exerting workout, but a fun way to cruise the river and still get a little activity in. Enough bridges during the ride provide some shade on really hot and sunny days. Friendly service. Absolutely would do this again!

A friend and I were in Austin for the weekend and rented some water bikes. It was so much fun and we got a pretty workout in too. They are pretty easy to steer/navigate. Only our feet got slightly wet. Highly recommend!
