There are several restaurants along this avenue that you can see the beautiful pink granite capitol building from! Amazing Home... More

Lots of information under the heading of South Congress. Many groovy shops, cafes, restaurants, and great people watching. Avoid at rush hour unless you have extra time. Mostly pet friendly. Parking about 10... More

Took out of state friends to this area. Loved looking at the antique stores and trinket stores. Lots of characters to see on the streets.

IMO SoCo was a nicer version of 6th street. Bars and restaurants but not stumbling drunks. It seemed like higher quality restaurants and was easier to park etc.

Visited just this past weekend. It was a great experience, we really enjoyed all the shops and places to eat. Overall it was one of my favorite parts of our Austin weekend.

Great place to walk and watch people while checking out some cool stores with unique goods. Had already eaten but definitely want to go back and try out some of the restaurants in the area.
