There's a lot of interesting things here with little shops and food places that are pretty original. However, I really don't think it's anything that special. I don't think it's a must see, but it is something to do and explore. If you're looking for...More

This is my second visit, and I'm still uncertain why this is so popular, although it's worth a visit. Some cute, quirky shops; food trucks; small live music venues. South Congress Ave. itself is not particularly attractive, and few shaded areas, so beware the heat....More

SoCo district is an amazing street of eclectic shops, overflowing with everything you could wish for. Don't walk past any door without visiting the inside, most of the shops are cavernous. A must street to visit without doubt for fabulous food and drink bars too!!!!.

I live this area of Austin.mfrom it's great one off restaurants to the funky vintage clothes and quirky yard art there really is something for everyone. It gets very busy but that only adds to the ambience.
