What a track! I have raced a lot of tracks in the world but this is one of my favourites! The first corner is amazing how high it is if you are driving at the straight. In the evening you can go for a nice diner in Austin or you can go for a drink.

Busy, Busy place. Great for concerts but packs pretty fast and not easy to see the performance except on big screen. Lots going on throughout the year and plenty of things to do. Food is a bit expensive and like all other parks and attractions not much for taste or health in my opinion.

Great for F! races, motorcycle races, running events and a concert venue! Clean and safe grounds. Easy access and alternate forms of transportation offered to get to the track for different events

This place is amazing. First off it is a world class motor speedway race course. Secondly, it is an excellent venue for outdoor concerts. Both are outstanding and once a year they both come together when the speedway host a world class race event weekend. It is better to take public transportation because you will have to park, in a... Modern, big and near the town. We went for a few days on the track, event well organized and even could shop for goodies to take home and present for friends and family

My partner and I visited Texas in October 2015 to see family and also to all attend the 2015 US GP at COTA. The circuit itself is a modern style and is a great layout which always bring excitement. With the Grand Prix this was no exception as a little bit of rain ensured an exciting and dramatic conclusion to... More

I am a fan of F1 and had had a great view of the track at Austin when the plane landed. It looked great -all colourful and new. On my final day I had an hour or so and went to the Circuit of the Americas on the way back to the airport (it's very close). There had been an... More

Came to Austin for the IMSA/WEC races and immediately realized why it's a FIA Grade 1 track. The facilities are spectacular, the track is surprisingly safe and very fast, and the upkeep leaves no room for criticism. That said, it's hard to rate anything that occurs in 110ºF heat 5 stars. It's also disheartening (though not really COTA's fault) that... More

Just returned from COTA Lonestar Lemans Race. It was hot and there's not much shade. Bring an umbrella (without the point on top) so you can have shade. You are only allowed to bring 1 bottle of water per person into the racetrack property - I think no bigger than 20-24 oz. The place is huge and there is transportation... More

We went for the 2016 WEC in September and it was hot! The circuit is pretty spectacular and we enjoyed the all the racing but the spectator facilities were disappointing. We had the multiturn pass that allowed access to the main grandstand, turn 1 and turn 15 and we did visit all 3 but the only one with any shade... More
