When I arrived at the doorstep to take my pizza, I had to wait in the cold for 30 minutes. I saw people came and gone but no one called the order with my name. I started to ask the manager about my order. After looking it up she claimed that she “remembered clearly that she gave me the pizza”. I was baffled and I asked her, “Is it possible at all that someone with a similar appearance to me took my pizza (since we are all wearing masks)? Because I really did not take the pizza.” But she insisted, “No. I clearly remembered that I gave you the pizza”. With that statement she looked at me as if I ate the pizza and then came back for more. At that moment I felt very insulted and I asked, “I really did not take your pizza. You could check the CCTV for evidence.” She replied with an indifferent tone, “It is going to take days.” I felt like I was talking to a wall. Then I asked to talk to someone higher-up trying to resolve the issue. Then another lady came out. At this moment, the manager changed her tone, saying “I put it the pizza on the table (instead of giving it to me directly).” I explained that I did not take the pizza on the table because I did not hear my name being called (there were a lot of to-go orders). But they insisted that they would not remake nor refund me the pizza. This was honestly the most frustrating and humiliating experience I had in a take-out service.

Cool spot we found while walking on Rainy Street. This spot was at the corner which makes for good people watching. They have good beer options and a great indoor and outdoor seating option. Would definitely return again.

Beer (lots and lots of beer) and pizza! That's it!
Set in one of the many single story houses on ultra-hip Rainey Street, this bar serves hundreds of different beers and ales - they even have cider (which can be quite difficult to find in the States).
Out back are lot of tables, and a trailer dishing out superb pizza at the bottom of the 'garden'. So, you can have a few beers, in a great setting, and then go and order a pizza when you're hungry. They serve a few standards, but you can also choose your own toppings, from quite a long list.
I'm not sure who said that the key to running a successful food/restaurant business is to do one thing really well, but Craft has made this a virtue. The bar staff are very friendly and very willing to guide you when choosing a drink. Being served by Lacey was an education in itself. My personal favourite was the Guadalupe IPA. Recommended.

Rainey Street makes for a great night out. Although my memory of the night is somewhat blurred, I remember Craft Pride as one of the best places we drank at during our wanderings that night

Fantastic local/regional craft selection. The selection here never disappoints. Wish it wasnt in such an obnoxious location but it works for them.

My wife and I stopped in this weekend while visiting Austin. I love my craft beer, so it was a must stop. I enjoyed the variety and the huge selection that was available. With all of the different styles, we both found one that we enjoyed. It was neat being able to try several of the local options.
The only negative that I took note of was that the bartenders seemed pissed at life. Not just one, but all three that were serving people at the main bar. Grumpy and short with us, it was enough me to not want to go back for the rest of the trip.

Great bar with LOTS of beer. No booze is the down side. Music in the back is outstanding. A must stop on your trip. If your lucky go on a Monday and see Ben Balmer play. He is AWESOME!!!

Due to a wedding the staff was completely overwhelmed by the amount of people and didn’t see the necessity to be friendly.
Selection of beer is not bad, but a few were out.

Visited twice during our stay in Austin, a highlight at the bottom end of Rainey Street.
Craft Pride is an excellent pub, showcasing Texas Brewing across the beer spectrum. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and fun.
As a Brit I was pleased to find a couple of beers on cask dispense that were served around the right temperature for a cask beer.
Pleasant garden to the side with a Via 313 pizza trailer, munch and sup to your hearts content.
Highly recommended if you like to explore regional beers.

Cool bartenders and pretty good beer. I would have liked to see more doubles or imperial IPAs, but what they had was very good. The Detroit style pizza in the back was surprisingly good as well.
