We stayed here when we attended Gov. Rick Perry's Inauguration several years ago. The Driskill is bathed in history and has been well appointed with furniture and fixtures.

If in Austin you must stop by the awe inspiring Driskill! This time my company booked my stay elsewhere so I made time to visit this legendary bar! Old fashioned was excellent. Take a tour around and experience the original Austin!

BEAUTIFUL hotel built in 1885. We didn't stay there but you can check out the lobby, restaurant and Victorian room. It's Driscoll not Driskill.
