One of the older and smaller US convention centers. Awkward for those needing assistance. Clean and comfortable enough. Food greatly overpriced at only venue. Information Desk lady was very helpful in getting around and warning about hours & closures. Several major hotels within close proximity....More

We have gone to several things over many years at the formerly "new" Austin Convention Center. It has kept its newness all these years. Many shows can go on at once, and break-out rooms for smaller things like panel discussions abound. This place is probably...More

The Austin Conv. Center has five huge meeting halls, 54 meeting rooms, ballrooms, and more than 246,000 sq. ft. It has 2 parking garages, and some on-street parking (if you're lucky); look at the directions info. on its web site before you go, to prepare...More

Went here for RTX 2017. Had a great time, staff/security were all nice and let the people attending have their fun. Place was clean and overall have a great time.

Close to everything. Could use a little sprucing up. The metro is right there and easily commutable from nearby hotels. Hotels flank the center, great restaurants are all within walking distance .

Very nice big area, lots of security, with food vendors, very accessible to down town area walking right to other theatres and restaurants.

There were two conferences taking place at the same time. The building handled the 4-5,000 people easily. The facilities are nice and clean, the sound systems and AV worked well.

Nice convention center with good AC and Internet. Some restrooms are small; all seem to be lacking paper towels. Most signs tell you where ballrooms are, but omit the smaller rooms. Major hotels nearby, lots of eateries, and both Congress Street & Sixth Street are...More
