Been to this place on 7th July 2023
visited with my friend and found this place tucked away from the major attractions, however is popular amongst the locals.
Peacocks and Peahens welcome you to this place with the most human friendly behaviour and photo options which will surprise all.
There are landscaped gardens and water bodies inside the mail park and one can book trail walk which runs round the flora and fauna of the area.
This place is visited by family with young children and is very educative to the young and also helps them to develop understanding with nature.
Do as the locals do.

Free park with limited parking, but street parking is available. Peacocks preserve is located here and it is nice tO see free range peacocks. They are so pretty and there are nice grounds to enjoy with ponds and koi. Very peaceful even with a crowd of people.
There are nice way walking trails to see greenery and part of the lake.
Budget 35 minutes for trail walking and seeing peacocks.
Covert Park is up the street, go there first or next for adventures in this area.

This park has peacocks wandering around and some (rather murky) koi ponds in the garden area. Behind the garden, there are some trails through the woods that have nice scenery. Great place to see local plants!

Nice features and layout. Free roaming peacocks which were entertaining. They were even on the roofs of the pergolas and the house. Koi in ponds, some of which were huge. Some color in January, but this must be amazing when in full bloom. One item of note: there was a car broken into while we were there. Not sure if this is common, as we are from another state, but this could be an area to avoid.

Rough walking. Trails rocky and full of roots. Tried it but was afraid I would trip at every turn. Walked through the gardens around the house. The peacocks were pretty and walking around. The walking around the garden had trip hazards so be careful. Ponds were disappointing and seemed not cared for. For the price - free it is good if you are careful.

Gorgeous peacocks strutting their stuff here is amazing. The trail is a fun and easy 1 to 1.5 mile trek which includes walking through a couple of small streams. (Staying dry is relatively easy by walking on rocks.)

We went expecting to see tons of peacocks based on posts. Maybe they have a shelter when it's a bit warmer? We'd go back on a better weather day and give it another try if we are ever in the area again.

Definitely visit in the spring - not winter. There is very limited parking.. we didn’t see any peacocks, which was disappointing.. the trails are rocky and tree roots jut up throughout them.. I would imagine in the spring it is much prettier and more bird activity

Very small park no bathrooms besides a porta potty or two out front. Short hike to the water and some cute ponds to see Lilly pads. But would not go again. Did not see any info or staff to ask questions.

It’s a nice place to visit, nothing spectacular. A nicely kept garden area with some koi ponds that could use a little more attention. Peacocks are roaming freely. Short paths to overlook the river are here as well.

I recall some benches but not sure about tables. I would think you can picnic there

Where exactly is this cottage?me and my husband just ended up in the reserve hiking we couldn't find the cottage where the peacocks are😂😂😂 sad tho🤔🤔

From where I parked, the trails were on the right, and the cottage was on the left. I added a photo (likely still being reviewed by Trip Advisor) to help clarify.

Is this park free, if not how much just to see and take pictures?
Thank you,

Yes, it is free. Take lots of film or a car charger for your camera or phone. You could do it in an hour, but the best experience is if you can spend several hours there, possibly, pack a small lunch and enjoy. Even small kids, if they are under control, will enjoy this. It is also a great place to put down a blanket and listen to music on your headphones. I love the place. Many more people there on the weekend, but I have never seen it crowded except when the park is reserved for special events.
Enjoy!
