It was our first try at foot golf and it was 100 degrees. We managed to play 9-holes before needing to call it quits but we thoroughly enjoyed it! The course was easy to follow and we had a beautiful walk through the second half after giving up on finishing in the heat. Highly recommend!

I have two young children and each enjoy going to The First Tee of Greater Austin to get skill training on golf by some great volunteer coaches. We have done the week long day camps in Summer and with school and other activities now we are doing the Monday evening clinics. My five year old uses The First Tee's clubs.... More

My buddy and I love to pay 9 holes in the morning and then grab lunch at the Waffle House up the street. The course is mostly par 3 and the white tees are about 120+ ft. They also have a 18 hole soccer golf course. The course itself is not kept pristine like the private courses but they do... More

Great place for The family to golf. The first Tee of Greater Austin is great. The kids learn life lessons through golf.

If you have a couple hours to spare, you may as well get in a quick 9 holes at Harvey Penick. The holes are short (mostly par-3's), and the greens are average, but you'll be glad you were able to squeeze in a full 9 in under 2 hours.

I have been several times but will not go back. The last time I went to Harvey Penick I was accused of walking on without paying. I understand that if this happens they need to deal with it, but not in the way I was dealt with. After explaining to some kid on a cart that I have already paid,... More

This place is not known by most golfers in Austin but should be played by every golfer in Austin. Yes the course is only a 9-hole course but it's PGA TOUR design makes it difficult for the most avid golfer like myself. However I believe there are 4 tee boxes: expert, advanced, ladies, youth tees. This facility also has a... More
