This is reminiscent of SF's BeachBlanket Babylon!!! Mostly local political fun poked, But with enough 'national' flavor to make it enjoyable by most. ADULTS ONLY suggested.

Been 4-5 times over the years, they keep it fresh and topical.... Well worth it ! Lots of laughs... I like early show as it lets out as the action on 6th street is just starting, so not real crowded yet.

Always fun and topical, great for visitors! Not for kids. Old Austin at its best! On famous Sixth street!

Esther's Follies should be on your top 10 list for Austin. In the 30+ years I've lived here I have been to Esther's Follies about a half dozen time with out of town guest and local friends. Have enjoyed every visit. Never a bad show.

I've been to Esther's Follies a couple of times. Each time I almost hurt myself laughing. If you like topical humor, non partisan political joker's(of I should say very partisan joker's on which each point of view is skewed) you will love this show. As...More

I purchased reserved seats online. Do they email a confirmation and tickets or do I pick up at the box office the night of the performance? If so, how much time before the show should I come?

They'll email you a confirmation that has a bar code for each ticket. We printed ours out and brought with us, but they didn't even need to scan them. Because you have reserved seats, getting there 30 minutes early is... More
