Great way to entertain kids for an hour. They loved making their individual chocolate bars and learning about chocolate.

Talk about a place to die happy in, all your chocolate needs can be met here. And the taste, WOW! Only negative is the chocolate is pretty pricy, definitely worth it for a small amount.

Traveling between Bennington and Manchester we decided to check this out. Large chocolate shop with a little chocolate museum. Great for chocolate lovers. Take the time to watch the short video about the history of chocolate and how it is made (15 minutes ). And don't forget to take your picture with Cocoa the Bear - a 100 lb teddy.

We were driving through Vermont and stopped here after seeing the brochure that advertised "make your own chocolate bar." We luckily arrived just as 90 school/camp children were leaving. I'm not sure if the machines for the chocolate were already on or not, but they told us to wait 10 minutes while the chocolate tempered (heated up) and then we... More

When asked what she would like to do on the way home from Keene, NH my wife replied visit a candy store. A search on Google brought us to The Chocolatorium/Village Peddler. What a delightful shop. I enjoyed watching the story of Chocolate. In addition to the huge selection of handmade chocolates they also offer Vermont cheese. It's off the... More

5 Star rating! Shop filled with all kinds of goodies! The help couldn't be friendlier. They went out of their way to recommend other things to see. Took our photo with Coco the bear. We will be back if in the area. Highly recommend!

This is another name for the village peddler. Great chocolate shop not to be missed. See my other review for the village peddler to understand.

We took a special detour to visit this place. We travelled over 20 miles out of our way and when we got there we were ignored first of all by the female attendant and then by the man. We arrived just after 1pm and saw a notice on the door "2 tastings today at 1pm and 3pm" We told the... More

Went out of our way to visit the chocolatorium. Now I am not sure why. Perhaps we did not take full advantage of what they had to offer but no one seemed to notice we were there and did not offer any information or encouragement.

We paid $5 for a chocolate tasting. It included a 15 minute movie and about 45 minutes of tasting (7 chocolates) and questions. We learned so much and in a such a pleasant way. Tasting chocolate is like tasting wine! Who knew? And the chocolates sold at the store (The Village Peddler) were fantastic and reasonably priced. What fun! One... More
