This establishment is family owned and never fails to bring quality food, beverage or gifts for someone. I have been stopping here on the way home from my excursions in vermont for over a decade. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and glad to see you again. The cheeses are yummy, specialty items are reasonably priced and a... More

They let us taste samples of cheeses before we purchased. All were excellent! Nice little Store attached to buy Vermont made items.

I went here and the Vermont cheese was so good and I got garlic and herb cheese and it was delicious. It is in a beautiful town and is in the beautiful green mountains. If you love cheese and your in vermont you have to visit The Cheese House!!!

Every time we visit Vermont, we have to stop at the Vermont cheese house. No trip is complete without a few bags of Vermont cheese curds or the sampler pack of Vermont cheeses and cheddar straws. But there is more to this cherished stop than the food and gifts. The owners are some of the warmest people I've met in... More

We have shopped here often in the past and this time were looking for venison sausage which no one else had. So we bought it here. Store has a nice selection of local cheeses and foods, candies and souvenirs including clothing items.

From maple syrup to fudge to Vermont's best local beers, ciders and wines this shop has it all. ANd they have lots of great cheese. From in-house brands to cheese from small, local farms the selection here is excellent. A great place to grab supplies for a fabulous picnic.

I've been visiting the cheese house since it was a little round building painted like a round of Swiss cheese. If you're looking for a selection of wine, cheese, or a few other related products you can easily find them here. However, as years go on prices of souvenirs go up and selection goes down.

A great place to pick up gift items for foodies . . . we made a bee-line for the cheese area of this shop. They have so many items to choose from - it was fun deciding on which cheese to try (decided on VT medium cheddar w/ sage). Not only are many varieties of VT artisan cheese available (incl... More
