We love to attend this church when we are in Alexandria VA. There is so much history here and in the area around the church.

We came for Sunday Service, and stayed after to get the tour. Tours are free, and done by deacons of the church. If you're a guest and going to service be sure to let them know, because they'll direct you to sit in George Washington's...More

This is real living history. The tour here is led by docents from the church, and they are very knowledgeable about its history and the culture at the time of George Washington's family worship here. Definitely worth the time, and be sure to bring some...More

This is the home church of George Washington. You can literally go and sit in his pew! And it's free!! Doesn't take long to do, but it is high value. Very meaningful. Don't miss it.

I love how calm and clean and inviting the interior is as well as the service. The location is perfect and the courtyard-cemetery not only has rich history, but it is very peaceful to simply just sit under the sun and sip your coffee as...More

Very nice restoration, and I found a nice quiet pew to sit in for a while by myself. Odd to see a few old grave sites in the yard

Historic church from colonial time. George Washington workship here. Simple and cold but very practical and confortable for that time.

This is the church that two of the greatest generals of two great nations attended. You can see the family pew of both the Washingtons and the Lees (Update: They took away the family plaque marking their pews). Beautiful Colonial Construction and history with every...More

This was my go to church when visiting the area but no more. I will find another church. There is not value in removing history. Really disappointed.

Radical leftists running the church wish to erase history. Utterly shameful that the first President of the United States who attended services here for 20 years would be disrespected. I will never set foot in this church... More

There is street parking, We walked from our hotel. Another option is using the free trolley that runs up and down King Street and walking about two blocks.
