Fun But Not Scary

This tour is more historical than ghostly, but was great fun. Definitely worth a try. The customer service when emailing an enquiry was great.

We took this tour twice when we had family in town. The first we had a great guide who was very knowledgeable while the second we had a guy who was the only one who laughed at his jokes. That tour couldn't end quick enough. If you end up with the second guy use Google when you get home to... More

I was in Alexandria just for the night so this was the only tour that was available. I really enjoyed it! The group was very large but there were 2 guides and we broke off into two smaller groups and went into different directions. There was a family with unruly teenagers so this was a blessing. The man that gave... More

George was an amazing raconteur that captured the attention of all young and old with history and folklore as well as ghostly tales. Family putting that is very enjoyable. The tour is 1 hour which is the perfect amount of time to take it all in without walking too much!

History meets legend as you stroll the streets of the seafaring city of Alexandria! Listen to the soft spoken tales of those who have left us but may not have afterall! Guides find history and legends collide in recounting facts, and fiction! You will enjoy the walk and the talk!

Researched online, then called to confirm Sun 2:00 pm $20. ticket for tour. Met by adorable "Dell" who took 9 of us on a 90 min tour discussing origin of Alexandria, architecture, politics, civil war to modern day. Great insight from this teacher/historian who 2 weeks before discovered more history of the town. I guesstimate 1 mile of walking but... More

We took a tour on Halloween night and had a great time! There is quite a bit of walking and standing, so beware of that. But it was fun and interesting and well organized. It really wasn't as creepy as some of the ghost tours I've taken elsewhere, but the history was fun and our guide did several "magic" type... More

Really enjoyed the storytelling and the hair on my arms stood up several times. Thought the tour was just the right length and learned a few things too.

I have taken this tour several times. On a cool evening in the spring or fall, it is delightful. Guides are enthusiastic and well informed. A better chance for photographs would be a on daytime tour, but the heat and crowds of summer can be unpleasant. There is a lot of American History in Old Town, so prepare with a... More

Visited the old town of Alexandria and took the colonial ghost tour. It was a leisurely one hour walk around the old town, full of history and hauntings. A great way to spend the evening.
