Windmill Hill Park is along the Potomac and the Mt. Vernon Trail bike route. It is packed on weekends with kids playing soccer and basketball, with the little ones enjoying the swings and climbing towers. Ideally located, it's worth a stroll through.

This is a nice place to run through, play on (for all ages) or just sit and enjoy Old Town. There's also a dog park just across the street, and the Wilkes Street tunnel runs under the park as well.
