    Great view without any hassles
View of DC is one of the best spots I've found to overlook the city and surrounding areas. We went on a Saturday and there was no line, no wait, and no crowd, but the skies were crystal clear and we could see the whole city. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get a great view of the nation's capital. It's also free, so I would recommend this to anyone and plan on going again.

    Absolutely Stunning Views
So happy to have found this incredible treasure! Stumbled upon in while doing research for things to do in the DC area. This observation deck/event space is located in downtown Arlington, VA. It's easy to miss, but once you find it, you will not be disappointed. We happened to have a clear day - arrived just before sunset, so the views were extra special! There is an inside area with 360-degree views and an observation deck that is another level above, which is reminiscent of the deck at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. We took soooo many pictures - each one more beautiful than the last. Oh, and did I mention it's FREE?!?!?!?

    Amazing in many ways
Some of the ways that this is an amazing activity: 1. Ease of entry - security is not a long process 2. Fast elevators to the 31st floor. 3. The 360° views. 4. Gorgeous sunset views 5. Outdoor and indoor observation areas 6. It's free!

    Go On A Clear Day
This venue offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area that includes Washington DC. Yes, it is free, and typically not crowded, but know if you drive parking isn’t free and can be a challenge. Also know the entrance is on the opposite side of the building - not on Wilson Blvd.

The View of DC open for now
We were there on April 16, 2024 and it was open. The web site is not working at this time. The entrance is directly across from McDonalds in a courtyard area. We spoke to the desk person and she said the building has been purchased and the attraction may only be open through the summer. The new management has not decided if they will continue with the attraction. We experienced an incredible view of the DC area and I highly recommend this site. The hours were listed as Sun to Sat 10:00 to 4:00 with early closing at noon on Wed.

Tried to visit the website and the site is no longer working. Emails bounce back with undeliverable message and phone goes to a pre-recorded message. I can only assume they are no longer providing access to the public. If anyone can help or knows different I would be very grateful to hear from you

We stopped by here after visiting Arlington National Cemetary. It is steps from the exit of the Rosslyn metro station, which is very convenient to get to. After checking our IDs, and an easy metal detector scan, we were in the elevator and up to the 31st floor. We were there just after 3:00 pm on a quiet Thursday before they closed at 4:00 pm. At one point during our 30-minute visit, we were the only ones up there!

The views are incredible, and what everyone is there for. Sun glare may make the western views a challenge, but there is nothing they can do about that.
Other than the huge 2 or 3 story windows to look out of, there is not much else to do. The outdoor area was closed when we were there, and the bar was not open. Restrooms were available. From viewing their website, they welcome the public for free to promote the space as a venue for weddings, special events, etc. Maybe that's when they open up the bar.

I highly recommend this be included in anybody's trip to Washington DC for sightseeing. Be sure to check the website for times and other information.

Easy access. Near Metro. Closed if rainy check google site will say if open or closed. Impressive 360° view of area. Some repairs needed. Has a snack bar but not open and appears hasn’t been open or manned for awhile.

The developers used to charge visitors to go to the enclosed observation deck at the top of this 30+ story building but now it is FREE! Tremendous 360 degree views of Washington, DC and northern Virginia while airplanes landing at National Airport buzz by at nearly eye-level height. The glass elevator going up also is fun. We took a four-year old and he loved it. A great option for DC visitors, especially on hot or cold days.
